Fees & Referrals
The current standard session fee is $240 for a 50-minute therapy consultation*.
*Please note that this is well below the current recommended fee of $311 from the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Medicare Rebate
You may be eligible for rebates from Medicare if you obtain a valid referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP prior to your appointment. The current rebate for seeing a clinical psychologist is $141.85 per session. You may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year.
Private Health Insurance
Alternatively, you may be able to access a rebate for your sessions through your private health fund. Please note that you are unable to claim both from Medicare and a private health fund for the same appointment. You can contact your health fund for further information regarding eligibility to claim for a psychological service.
Cancellation Policy
At least 24 hours notice is required, cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are charged 100% of the session fee. Please note Medicare rebates cannot be claimed for cancelled or missed appointments.
Other Information
Please note I do not provide medico-legal reports, once-off assessments, or services under WorkCover.
